104 Swiss companies in Tunisia and 14,500 jobs

Economic exchanges between Tunisia and Switzerland are growing in several areas such as textiles, tourism and the agri-food industry.

Today, Switzerland is in tenth position among countries that contribute to the Tunisian economy with FDI (foreign direct investment).

Switzerland is also in fifth position among countries creating direct jobs in Tunisia with a network of 104 companies for 14,500 jobs.

These figures were presented by Ahlem Belhadj Ammar, president of the Tunisian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry during her appearance on Wednesday October 21 on RTCI, the French-speaking and polyglot Tunisian radio.
