The veil surrounding the origin of the coronavirus epidemic that strikes the planet has not yet been lifted and several questions remain, to date, unknown even if theories within the scientific community, have made it possible to raise certain doubts.
It is in this sense that the President of the United States, Joe Biden, suspecting China not to say the whole truth, instructed its intelligence services to find the origin of the coronavirus.
A report on the origins of the COVID-19 produced by an American laboratory has just concluded that the hypothesis that the virus has escaped from the Chinese laboratory to Wuhan is “plausible” and deserves a more in-depth investigation, reports the Wall Street Journal.
The study, which started in May 2020 at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, was used by the State Department to feed its survey according to two scenarios. Either the coronavirus appeared following human contact with an infected animal or after a laboratory accident.
The second hypothesis that the virus was created at the Wuhan Chinese Virology Institute, is seriously explored by Washington, although some eminent scientists called for a further survey.
