The World Health Organization raised, this Friday, May 5, 2023, its highest level of alert on the Cavid-19 pandemic.
The WHO believes that the pandemic is now sufficiently under control and that COVVI-19 is no longer a health emergency of international scope.
The director general of WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, however recalled that the pandemic had left at least 20 million dead, almost three times more than the official assessment.
