According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the world must prepare for a possible coronavirus pandemic in the light of the latest data so disturbing.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Managing Director of the World Health Organization said yesterday on Monday, February 24, that WHO is already preparing for this scenario. “We have to focus on the containment of the epidemic, while doing our best to prepare for a possible pandemic. The sudden increase in the number of cases in Italy, Iran and South Korea is very worrying, “he explained, quoted by several global press agencies.

The coronavirus epidemic accelerated on Monday, with high increases in South Korea to Iran and Italy, which now record the largest number of cases of contamination and death outside of China. In Europe, Italy has at least five dead, has become the first country on the continent to set up a health cord around a dozen northern cities.

About 200 thousand Tunisians resident in Italy, including 60%, which are in quarantine areas, “said the Minister of Acting Health on Monday, February 24, February 24, after the Minister of Interim Health Sonia Ben Cheikh.

Indeed, invited to the Elhiwar Ettoussi channel to return to the disturbing propagation of the coronavirus in this country close to Tunisia, the minister was worried about the risk of seeing Tunisians infected by this virus. “We have confidence in the Italian health system, but the risk exists since some Tunisians do not master the Italian language and may not apply certain measures,” she said.

Sonia Becheikh assured that no case of contamination of the coronavirus has been recorded in Tunisia – at least for the moment – knowing that a prevention protocol has been set up by the health authorities in Tunisia since January 24.
