We repeat our commitment to Palestine

The President of the Assembly of People’s Representatives (ARP), Rached Ghannouchi had a telephone interview with the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh and the head of Hamas for foreigners Khaled Mechaal on Thursday.

Rached Ghannouchi reiterated the commitment of Parliament and Tunisia to the Palestinian cause.

In this sense, he condemned the attacks and assaults of the occupying forces, congratulating the Palestinian resistance.

He added that Tunisia still calls for international protection for the benefit of the Palestinian people and to set up all the support for the Palestinian cause.

Ghannouchi recalled that Tunisia asked on Wednesday as part of the work of the Arab Interparliamentary Union, to guarantee international protection for the Palestinian people.

He insisted on the need to immediately put an end to the attacks on civilians, making a large number of victims and wounded, believing that the strikes against civilians and the expulsion of the inhabitants constitute a war crime.
For its part, Ismail Haniyeh gave an overview of very serious developments in the Gaza Strip, welcoming the efforts made by Tunisia in support of the Palestinian cause.

During the extraordinary meeting of the Arab Union of Parliaments, the head of the Assembly of Representatives of the Rached Ghannouchi people launched a collection of international donations for the benefit of the Palestinian people.

Speaking at a distance, Ghannouchi reiterated the unconditional support of Tunisia in favor of the Palestinian cause.
