An explosion was heard this Thursday, May 11, 2023, in the center of Milan where several vehicles are on fire.
According to Italian police, a van caught fire without giving another precision immediately, reports the Italian television channel Sky TG24.
The deflagration is part of a vehicle resident of oxygen bottles and it is not yet known if the incident has made victims.
Images broadcast by Sky TG24 show a thick cloud of black smoke rise above flames vehicles in a street in the district of the Romana porta in Milan, capital of Lombardy in northern Italy, and firefighters in intervention.
At least four cars would be involved in the fire. A school located near the place of the explosion was evacuated.
