Unpublished Salve of Iranian missiles: Tel Aviv plunged into a landscape of war

The conflict between Iran and Israel crossed a new threshold this Thursday, June 19, with an Iranian missile salvo having targeted several Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv. Military climbing, at its seventh day, made fear a broader extension of the front.

As of dawn, alert sirens have resounded in many regions of the country, triggering a movement of panic in urban areas. In Tel Aviv, several impacts were reported by the authorities, notably in the city center and the southern districts. One of the missiles hit a hospital in southern Israel, according to the first balance sheets.

On -site journalists reported chaos scenes. In Tel Aviv, “powerful detonations, deaf and repeated”, were heard for long minutes, confirming an unprecedented intensity of the strikes.

The Iranian agency Fars spoke of “high precision” missiles “roar above Tel Aviv”, suggesting a large-scale coordinated attack. The Israeli army, for its part, immediately called on the populations concerned to take refuge in the nearest shelters, for fear of new waves of fire.

Following this new wave of missiles, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Iran “will pay a heavy price” after his missile attack damaged Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva.

This new episode of violence marks a dangerous turning point in the confrontation between the two regional powers, with direct strikes and affected civilian targets, making fear of an uncontrollable spiral.
