Two new massacres bloody the Gaza strip, 34 Palestinians killed

Two new massacres bloodied the Gaza strip this Friday morning. At least 34 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes targeting the Nuseirat camp and the city of Deir al-Balah, awaiting humanitarian aid. The human assessment increases in a territory ravaged by almost nine months of offensive.

The Gaza Strip was again struck by the violence of Israeli bombings on Friday at dawn, causing the death of at least 34 Palestinian civilians, according to the official WAFA news agency.

At the Nuseirat camp, in the center of the territory, a strike targeted a group of people gathered near the crossroads of martyrs, while they expected humanitarian aid. Al-Awda Hospital has confirmed the deaths of 23 people and the arrival of many injured.

A few hours later, another raid hit a house in the Al-Maaskar area, west of Deir al-Balah. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, 11 people died there and several others were injured. The victims were transferred to the Martyrs Hospital in Al-Aqsa.

This new humanitarian drama succeeds that of Tuesday in the south of the Gaza Strip where more than 50 civilians were killed and more than 200 injured in an Israeli attack near an humanitarian aid distribution center, in the city of Khan Younès.

Since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, Gaza has lived under a deluge of fire, destruction and forced trips. The Palestinian authorities show 55,000 dead and more than 130,000 injured, mostly women and children. In addition, there are more than 11,000 missing, a devastating famine, and a massive exodus of civilians.

This military campaign, described as genocidal by several international voices, continues to take place despite calls for ceasefire and binding decisions of the International Court of Justice.
