A ministerial meeting for consultation with neighboring countries in Libya took place on Monday in Algiers. She gathered, the foreign ministers of Tunisia, Algeria and Libya.
According to a press release from the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on identifying the means allowing the implementation of the recommendations of the conference “Initiative to support stability in Libya”, which was held on October 21 in Tripoli.
Foreign Ministers have discussed the latest developments related to the preparation of the next presidential and legislative elections, and exchanged the views of the Paris International Conference to be held on November 12 on Libya.
During this meeting, the three ministers were unanimous in emphasizing that the Libyan state must be the main partner in any consultation meeting or future initiative, stressing the importance of continuing coordination efforts until the completion of the political process in Libya and the realization of aspirations of the Libyan nation.
