The tension continues to go up to Palestine where the occupying forces lead an unprecedented attack on the Gaza strip where the different fractions of the resistance are positioned, in particular those of Hamas.

It is in this context that diplomatic maneuvers are multiplying to find a peaceful outcome to this conflict.

The White House spokesman Jen Psaki told the news agency Reuters yesterday Thursday, May 13, 2021, that Tunisia, Egypt and other countries in the region can play a short-term role of de-escalation of the ongoing conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.

This declaration comes as Tunisia has repeatedly called upon to hold a meeting of the UN Security Council with the aim of discussing these last events.

The number of Palestinians killed following Israeli bombing on the Gaza Strip increased to 120, including 24 children and several women, and 487 injured, according to medical sources.

On Wednesday, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced that the Palestinians would continue to take all measures to protect themselves, noting that the Israeli authorities conduct ethnic cleaning operations in Al-Quds.

The same day, Israel had killed a manager of Hamas and bombed several buildings, including high buildings and a bank, which, according to the Zionist authorities, are linked to the activities of the movement.
