Tunisia vigorously denounced this Friday, June 13, 2025, the attack qualified as “traitor” led by Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran. In an official statement, Tunis condemned this assault as a “blatant violation of Iranian sovereignty and security”, believing that it openly contravenes the Charter of the United Nations as well as international laws and standards.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this military operation constitutes a serious threat not only for the stability of the region, but also for international peace and security.
“The brutal aggression against Iran represents a new episode in the series of recurring crimes and attacks perpetrated by the Zionist entity,” said the press release, which sees additional proof of “arrogance” and “aggressive policy” of Israel.
Tunisia has expressed its solidarity with the Iranian people in these critical circumstances, and has renewed its appeal to the international community, in particular the UN Security Council, so that it intervenes urgently and firm in order to put an end to the “acts of the Zionist regime” and to ensure that it does not remain unpunished.
