If in Tunisia, it is the national operator, Tunisia Telecom which dominates the NPERF ranking on mobile internet connections, in Morocco the trend has been reversed since it is the private operator inwi who arrives at the top, having dethroned the national operator, Morocco Telecom.

In Tunisia, Tunisia Telecom retained its first place in this ranking for the years 2019 and 2020. In Morocco, it is the private inwi which dominates the mobile internet connections market. This is what emerges from the last NPERF report.

Indeed, despite a year marked by the COVVI-19 health crisis which has a lot of demand the telecommunications networks in Morocco, the Moroccan private operator inwi has strengthened its positioning as a leader in the consumer market in 2021.

According to this ranking, the situation of the Moroccan market is different from the Tunisian market where Tunisie Telecom has retained its first place in this ranking.

According to NPERF; Tunisia Telecom has distinguished better than competition in the face of the explosion of traffic, caused in particular by the health crisis. While in Morocco, competition remains fierce between Inwi, which has been riding for four years now at the top of the NPERF barometer, and Morocco Telecom. As for the operator Orange, he still remains in 3rd position in Tunisia as in Morocco.
