Tripoli: The UN fears a massive displacement of civilians

The United Nations expressed this Thursday, May 15, 2025 its great concern this Thursday, May 15, 2025 in the face of the recent escalation of violence in Tripoli, warning against major risks of massive travel and threat to civilians in Libya.

This comes when the violent clashes which had taken up between rival armed groups in the Libyan capital significantly decreased Wednesday evening in Tripoli. The fighting, which continued yesterday in several residential areas, left at least six dead in the past few days.
