Indeed, rebel groups announced on Sunday in a speech on Syrian public television the fall of the “tyrant” Bashar al-Assad, ensuring having released all the prisoners “unjustly” detained, calling citizens and combatants to preserve the properties of the State.

The commander-in-chief of the Syrian democratic forces, a coalition mainly made up of Kurdish fighters, described as “historic” the moment experienced by the Syrians with the fall of President Bashar al-Assad, described as a “dictator” in power for almost 25 years.
Syrian President Bashar has for almost a quarter of a century led Syria with an iron fist, repressing a rebellion that turned into a civil war, one of the most brutal of the 21st century.
