Everyone is only talking about the Chinese rocket “long March 5b”. A huge piece of rocket started falling to the ground. The machine was launched on April 29, to put part of the future Chinese space station to orbit.
According to experts, the object is drifting in orbit at 270 kilometers above the earth and at a speed of 27,790 km/h. But currently, it is out of control according to the Chinese government.
The scientific director at the Cité des Sciences in Tunis, Sarah Snoussi, however stressed, this Wednesday, May 5, that the probability of the fall of the object on a country is low.
In a statement to the TAP agency, she said that the subject should fail in the seas and oceans, explaining that this rocket is currently around the earth once every 90 minutes in low terrestrial orbit.
It weighs 21 tonnes, measures 30 meters long and 5 meters in diameter, and turns orbit around the earth at a very high speed exceeding 20,000/km per pole hour with a pole, which makes the date of its fall on the ground not determined, according to its estimates.
The Tunisian space association had underlined on its Facebook page that the Chinese rocket passed over Tunisia twice safely, especially in the north and south of the Tunisian country, indicating that it would no longer cross the Tunisian sky before midnight this evening.
She mentioned that the whole world is constantly under surveillance and monitoring of the rocket, which has become uncontrollable in space and could strike anywhere on earth or in seas and oceans without warning.
