According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the COVVI-19 virus will probably not disappear and could even mutate like pandemic flu.
The coronavirus could even become endemic and it is unlikely that it can be eradicated, Mike Ryan, executive director of the WHO health emergency program, said yesterday at a press conference.
According to him, the virus “is there to stay with us and it will evolve like pandemic flu” he added. Like other experts, those of WHO therefore believe that the coronavirus will not disappear.
