An unprecedented crisis! The Secretary General of the United Nations (UN), Antonio Guterres, described the coronavirus pandemic as the worst crisis that the world has known since the end of the Second World War, 75 years ago.
“This is the worst global crisis since the UN was founded,” he said yesterday, Tuesday, March 31, 2020, expressing his concern about the repercussions of this virus which can fuel conflicts and wars in the world.
According to him, this pandemic brings together two elements: “The first is that it is a disease that represents a threat to everyone, and the second, the extent of its economic impact which will lead to unprecedented stagnation in the recent past”.
