Russian President Vladimir Putin formalized, this Wednesday, October 5, 2022, the annexation of the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Louhansk, Kherson and Zaporijia, reported the Tass press agency.
Moscow indicated that the annexation of these four regions was made following referendums organized last week by the prorussian authorities in their occupied parts.
The results of these referendums were not recognized by the international community.
Vladimir Putin announced, Friday, September 30, the annexation by Russia by four Ukrainian regions, Donetsk, Louhansk, Zaporijia and Kherson.
An annexation widely denounced by Ukraine, but which Putin threatened to defend even with nuclear weapons.
Moscow also used its veto, yesterday to prevent the adoption of a resolution of the UN Security Council condemning this annexation.
