The Libyan chain “Libya al-Ahrar” reported that the director of the Inspection and Control Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Libyan National Unity Government, Meftah al-Tih, demanded that it be urgently leading to three employees of the Libyan consulate in Sfax.
According to the same source, this measure follows leaks relayed by a Tunisian television program (whose name has not been mentioned) showing the payment of salaries of certain Tunisian employees in Tunisian dinars instead of dollars.
The source also specifies that the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs pays the salaries of diplomatic missions into dollars.
