A suicide bombing hit the heart of the Turkish capital this Sunday, October 1, Ankara, very close to the Turkish parliament.
The Ministry of the Interior said that an attack was perpetrated in the Parliament district by “two terrorists”, one of whom “exploded” and the other was “neutralized”.
“Two terrorists presented themselves aboard a commercial vehicle around 9:30 a.m. (06:30 GMT) in front of the entrance portal of the Directorate General of Security of our Ministry of the Interior and perpetrated a bomb attack,” said Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya.
Two police officers were slightly injured. No other victim has been deplored.
