South Africa joins these countries and breaks its diplomatic links with Israel

In South Africa, Parliament has just adopted a motion to close the Embassy of Israel in Pretoria and break all diplomatic links with the Zionist entity because of his war against the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip.

The resolution was presented by fighters for economic freedom (EFF), opposition party, and adopted after the African National Congress (ANC), a party in power, proposed to support it by means of an amendment subordinating the resolution to the obtaining by Israel of a cease-fire with Palestine. The amended motion was adopted with more than 60% of the vote.

“We believe that in the case of Israel, it is the head of state who must be the subject of an arrest warrant, because we believe that the necessary evidence is overwhelming,” said Pammy Majodina, the discipline in the ENA, before Parliament.

On the side of the Zionist entity, this vote was poorly perceived and Israel recalled its ambassador to South Africa, since Monday for “consultations”.

What countries have broken their diplomatic relations with Israel?

South Africa thus integrates the list of countries which have decided to suspend any relationship with the Zionist entity as a sign of conviction. Some countries have ended their diplomatic relations with Israel, when others have chosen to recall their ambassadors.

Bélize, a small state of Central America, broke its diplomatic relations on November 15 with the Hebrew State as a sign of protests against the death of “innocent civilians” in Gaza.

In a statement, the government said it “withdrew” the accreditation of the Israeli ambassador in Belmopan and suspended “all activities” of his representative in Israel, with “immediate effect”.

Timid Arab countries!

Bélize thus joined Bolivia, which broke its diplomatic relations with Israel on October 31. Two other Latin American countries, Chile and Colombia, had recalled their ambassadors in Israel a few hours after the Bolivian government’s announcement. On November 3, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Honduras also announced in a statement the recall of its ambassador to Tel Aviv.

On the side of the Arab and Muslim countries, Jordan is the first Arab country to have recalled its ambassador to Israel. Bahrain had then announced the suspension of his commercial ties to Israel, as well as the recall of his ambassadors.
