The Maghreb flotilla of resilience (Soumoud), which is preparing to take sea from Tunisia on Sunday September 7, 2025 to break the blockade of Gaza, called the ultra supporters and groups to prepare banners, messages and giant flags in support of the Palestinian cause.

In a press release Published Friday on its Facebook page, the Soumoud flotilla invited football supporters and ultras groups to contribute by making banners and flags up to ten meters long. These symbols of solidarity will be on board ships and deployed throughout the crossing in the direction of Gaza.

The organizers recall that the sports stands have often been “on the front line” of support for the Palestinian cause, through the Soumoud caravan then the flotilla which now bears the same name.

A “free voice” tribune “

The flotilla calls on Tunisians to gather massively on September 7 to attend the departure of ships, presented as a highlight of mobilization and a “free voice”.

Earlier in the day, its initiators had also appealed to the captains of ships, fishermen, naval mechanics and Maghreb crews so that they volunteer in this “humanitarian mission”.

Mobilization and preparation

Reported by three days, the departure of the International Soumoud flotilla will take place on Sunday September 7, 2025 from the north coast of Tunis. More than 127 Tunisian activists and activists from 44 countries, including Mandla Mandela and Greta Thunberg, will take part in this crossing.

Ships transport children’s milk and medicines for Gaza. In Tunisia, the UGTT welcomed preparatory training to prepare participants for the risks linked to the intervention of the Israeli army.

This mission, supported by several NGOs and unions, makes Tunisia a strategic point of international mobilization to break the blockade imposed in Gaza for 18 years.
