As part of the efforts of the Ministry of the Interior to fight against smuggling and strengthen border security, the patrols of the administration responsible for the application of the law within the Directorate General of Security Operations have managed to intercept several Tunisian vehicles on the border of RAS Jedir, announces the Libyan Ministry of the Interior.
Indeed, according to a press release relayed on social networks, these vehicles were trying to illegally trash the goods and goods from Libya, in addition to the smuggling of fuel via illegal tanks.
Legal measures have been taken against the persons involved, who were referred to the competent authorities. The vehicles and goods entered were retained in accordance with the laws in force.
The Libyan Ministry of the Interior underlines the continuation of its efforts to fight against smuggling in all its forms and take deterrent measures to protect the national economy and strengthen public security.
