The bad news follows one another for the Astrazeneca vaccine which is currently at the heart of the accusations.

This Saturday, April 3, the British Medicines Agency (MHRA) announced that seven people who have received the anti-Cavid Astrazeneca vaccine died of blood clots, out of a total of 30 cases identified so far.

“As of March 24, we received the reports of 22 cases of brain venous thrombosis and eight other cases of thrombosis associated with a deficit of platelets, out of a total of 18.1 million doses administered,” it said.

“The risk of having this type of blood clots is very low,” she said on Friday April 2. “The benefits of COVVI-19 vaccines continue to surpass risks”, vaccination being “the only effective way to reduce deaths and serious forms of the disease,” she added.

In France, three new cases of thrombosis, blood clots, atypical associated with the Astrazeneca coronavirus vaccine occurred on March 19 and 25, according to the Medicines Agency (ANSM).

In Tunisia, health professionals have refused to receive the Astrazeneca vaccine. According to the Secretary General of the National Union of Health Professionals Mohamed Aouinet this vaccine arouses great concerns, especially as a number of Western countries had prohibited its use.

The Minister of Health Faouzi Mahdi said on Friday April 2 that the pharmacology monitoring committee under the scientific committee against the coronavirus recommended the use of the Astrazeneca vaccine, especially for people over the age of 60.
