German police proceeded this Wednesday, December 7, 2022, to the arrest of 25 people, suspected of belonging to the conspiratorial group of “citizens of the Reich”, a far -right movement refusing to recognize the federal government.
This group projected armed attacks, notably against the German Parliament (Bundestag), as well as the lower room of the Parliament, said the prosecution.
The members of the extreme right group “citizens of the Reich” no longer pay taxes, refuse to have identity papers and do not recognize the Federal Republic of Germany.
They are also suspected of having made concrete preparations to penetrate violently into the German Bundestag with a small armed group, “the prosecutors said in a statement.
