Omicron subvariants are multiplying

The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that it has detected four “Omicron” transferred virus subvaries.

The organization said that it was monitoring the Ba.1, Ba.2 and Ba.3 strains and that it was too early to declare victory over the pandemic.

“We still don’t know everything about the virus,” said WHO technical director Maria Vankhove, in response to a question about the end of the pandemic. “We still don’t know everything about variants and their evolution.”

It is to be noticed that two undermlatants of “omicron” have been detected in many countries of the world, which raises fears that the epidemic continues to infect non-vaccinated such as vaccinated.

Countries such as Great Britain, Singapore and India have said that they have detected sub-variants such as “BA.2 and BA.3”, and these countries have experienced a significant increase in the number of infections, which strengthens fears that new strains are spread quickly.

17 deaths and 3952 new contaminations by the coronavirus were recorded on February 5, 2022 out of a total of 11,872 tests carried out, a positivity rate of 33.29%.

According to the latest assessment of the Ministry of Health, since the appearance of the pandemic in Tunisia in March 2020, 944,175 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded including 26,679 dead and 831,091 healings.
