The coronavirus pandemic continues to spread in the world where nearly 10,400 dead and 257,000 contaminated people are listed. The epicenter of the epidemic which affects 163 countries is now in Europe which now holds 115,000 cases and 5,000 deaths.

In Europe, the situation is particularly catastrophic in Italy, where 627 people died on Friday March 20, 2020. Italy has also become the country most affected by the coronavirus with more than 4,000 deaths and 47,000 cases.

In Spain, the second most affected country in Europe after Italy, the number of cases of people infected with the coronavirus has suddenly increased and there are now more than 20,400 cases and 1326 dead, up 32% in one day. The increase over 24 hours from Thursday to Friday was 30% for the number of deaths and 16.5% for that of confirmed cases.

And if the situation seems to be improving in China, where no local COVID-19 has been reported for the third consecutive day. What give ideas to many countries that have decided to opt for general containment and border closings.

In total, nearly a billion people around the world are confined to their homes, in the hope of slowing down the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Many are the subject of a compulsory confinement order, such as in France or Italy. The others are subject to curfew (as in Bolivia or Tunisia).
