The coronavirus has already killed 197,183 in the world since its appearance in December in China, according to a balance sheet established by Bloomberg.
More than 2,840,997 cases of infection have been officially diagnosed in 193 countries and territories since the start of the epidemic and at least 736,800 are considered to be healed today.
The United States, which has identified its first death linked to the coronavirus in early February, are the most affected country both in number of deaths and cases, with 51,949 deaths for 905,333 cases and 81,338 people declared healed on April 24, 2020.
In Italy, the epidemic left 25,969 dead and 192,994 experienced cases. In Spain 22,524 people died while 219,764 contamination were recorded. In France, the epidemic has killed 22,279 people since early March for 187,708 cases.
In the United Kingdom, the balance sheet increased from 684 dead at the hospital on Friday, more than the day before (+616), bringing to 19,567 in the country the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic.
