Friday night was marked by violent clashes between the Palestinians and the Israeli police within the Al-Aqsa mosque and elsewhere in Al-Quds, where the tension is mounted with a notch.
The clashes made more than 200 injured, announced this Saturday, May 8, 2021 the Palestinian emergency service.
Nocturnal demonstrations broke out at the beginning of the month of Ramadan against the police restrictions imposed in a popular gathering place. They have resumed in recent days due to the threat of expulsion of dozens of Palestinians from their houses in Al-Quds-Est.
Faced with this tension, the Israelis and the Palestinians are preparing for more troubles in the coming days.
