On the instruction of the President of the Republic, Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians abroad, will go to Rome on April 26, 2025 to attend the funeral of Pope Francis.
This visit is part of the presentation of the official condolences of Tunisia to the Vatican authorities, a friendly state with which Tunisia shares the principles of a constructive dialogue aimed at establishing the conditions favorable to living together between religions, and to promote the values of moderation, tolerance, justice and human solidarity, thus contributing to the strengthening of the foundations of peace and stability in the world, Foreign affairs press release.
