To stop it, Channel One, interrupted the news and passed a report. As for Marina Ovsyannikova, she was arrested and taken to the police station according to OVD-Info, an NGO to defense the rights of the demonstrators.

In a pre -recorded video before her bravery act, Marina Ovsyannikova described the war in criminal Ukraine and said that Russia was the aggressor.

“My father is Ukrainian, my mother is Russian. They have never been enemies. The necklace I wear is the symbol of the need for Russia to immediately arrest this fratricidal war. Our fraternal people can still make peace (…) Get out, manifest, do not be afraid, they cannot put us all in prison, “she said in this video.

Marina was first detained for three hours in the headquarters at the chain Ostankino television center in Moscow. At present, her lawyers still cannot find her. One of them said that he expected that she was initially owned for 15 days for an administrative accusation, then to be arrested for a criminal accusation.

From now on, it risks prosecution since the Russian authorities have recently passed laws which provide for sentences of up to 15 years in prison for the dissemination of “false information” on the army. The word “war” is also forbidden to be pronounced in Russia, both by the population and by the media.
