The humanitarian situation is increasingly worried in Gaza. While the Israeli bombings have not stopped one hour, the martyrs counts in the thousands.
“As we speak, people in Gaza die, they don’t only die because of bombs and strikes, much more will soon die from the consequences of the imposed seat,” the boss of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, warned Friday October 27, 2023.
“The basic services collapse, the reserves of medication, food and water are exhausted, the sewers are starting to overflow in the streets,” he described during a press briefing.
The convoys of help entered the Palestinian territory since October 21 are largely insufficient – only 74 trucks have passed – to meet the needs of the population, insisted Lazzarini.
More than 7,000 people have been killed by incessant bombing since the start of the conflict on October 7, according to the Gaza Strip Ministry of Health, administered by Hamas.
