US President Joe Biden announced on Monday, February 26, that Israel will stop his military “operations” against Hamas in the Gaza Strip during Ramadan as part of a Truce during negotiation.
“Ramadan arrives and there was an Israeli agreement that they would not engage in operations during Ramadan, in order to give us time to get all the hostages out,” said Joe Biden.
And to explain that a temporary cease-fire would facilitate relations with the neighbors of Israel and would give a boost to the process allowing the Palestinians to have their own state.
âIt gives us time to start moving in directions that many Arab countries are ready to take. For example, Saudi Arabia is ready to recognize Israel. Jordan is too. Egypt – there are six other states. I work with Qatar, âsaid Biden.
