The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah intensifies while the Lebanese group claims to have drawn at least 140 rockets in Israel after southern Lebanon has been targeted by Israeli strikes. This escalation occurs in a context of increased violence in the region, fueled by the Israeli offensive against Gaza and cross -border exchanges with Lebanon.
According to the civil defense services in Gaza, at least 17 Palestinians were killed today in Israeli strikes, carrying the victims’ assessment in this war at an alarming level. Since the start of the conflict, at least 41,272 people have been killed and 95,551 injured in the Gaza Strip.
Violence is not limited to Gaza. In the West Bank, a shocking video surfaced showing Israeli soldiers moving bodies after an attack that killed five in Qabatiya. These events highlight the extent of the conflict which extends far beyond the borders of Gaza.
Lebanon has also been hit hard. After shots between Israel and Hezbollah, the residents of the country found themselves abandoning their electronic devices for fear of explosions. In just two days, 37 people were killed and nearly 3,000 injured after bombing.
Finally, Israel led a targeted attack on Beirut, hitting a sector in the southern area of Dahiyeh. Local reports describe a massive explosion followed by a cloud of smoke rising in the sky. The details on this strike are still to come.
The conflict, of increasing intensity, leads to considerable human and material losses, jeopardizing the stability of the whole region. The exchanges of attacks between Israel, Gaza, Hezbollah and Lebanon are feared an aggravation of the situation in the coming days.

The Israeli shot on the southern suburbs of Beirut made, according to a first assessment of the Ministry of Health, at least three dead and 17 injured.
