In an ever more tense regional context, the Sionist forces continue their attacks on assaults on several fronts, making new victims in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria, even though talks suggest a possible Truce with Lebanese Hezbollah.
In Gaza, where the human record continues to increase with more than 44,000 dead since the start of the conflict, the occupation forces have led three distinct attacks in the north of the enclave, causing the death of 11 Palestinians. The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate, aggravated by unfavorable weather conditions which particularly affect displaced.
In Lebanon, the balance sheet increases dramatically with at least 3,768 dead and 15,699 injured since the start of the war in Gaza. The last 24 hours have been particularly deadly with 31 new victims under Israeli bombing.
At the same time, the Zionist army struck several bridges near the Lebanese border in Syria, making two additional civilian victims.
A glimmer of hope nevertheless emerges in Lebanon, where intensive negotiations could lead to a 60 -day Truce between Israel and Hezbollah. The Israeli ambassador in Washington, Mike Herzog mentioned the possibility of a “in the coming days” agreement, although certain points remain to be finalized.
The draft agreement provides in particular with the withdrawal of the Hezbollah forces north of the Litani River and the deployment of the Lebanese army in the south of the country, under the supervision of a committee led by the United States. Hamas in Lebanon has already expressed its support for this initiative, despite the previous position of Hezbollah which conditioned everything to stop hostilities in Gaza.
