The Iranian prosecutor general announced the abolition of the moral police behind demonstrations in the country.
These demonstrations come from the arrest of Mahsa Amini, whose death in detention caused three months of popular protest.
This announcement, which comes on the eve of three days of mobilization and anti-regime strikes has not yet calmed the minds of the demonstrators.
“(The Attorney General) also said that this police had no connection with justice and that justice was going to continue his work to monitor activities in society,” said Siavosh Ghazi, correspondent for France 24 in Iran.
