The Libyan Ministry of the Interior has announced the intensification of security patrols on the Tunisian-Libyan border in order to combat smuggling and illegal immigration.
In a statement published on its official page, the ministry said that “security patrols have been deployed along the border band with Tunisia, under the supervision of the head of the border security section of Nalout”.
These patrols covered the points of Marabaha, Oum Doud, Oum Far and Touil al-Choul, in collaboration with the battalion 419 under the staff.
The objective is to strengthen the security control of borders and to counter illegal activities that threaten the security of the country. »»
