The Indian army announced this Friday, March 11, 2022, having accidentally sent a missile to Pakistan.
Recording the incident of “deeply regrettable”, the ministry explains that the shooting took place following a technical dysfunction, as part of routine maintenance and that a high -level survey was opened.
The press release from the Indian Ministry of Defense comes a few hours after the conviction by the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs of what it appointed as “an unjustified violation” of the Pakistani airspace “by a + flying supersonic object of Indian origin”.
The Pakistani ministry adds that it has summoned India’s officials in Islamabad who was noted “a protest”.
This “reckless shooting” damaged buildings on the ground and endangering civil lives as well as planes in Pakistani airspace, added the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, accusing India of being “insensitive to regional peace and stability”.
