Friday afternoon, the Israeli army carried out a raid on the southern suburbs of Beirut, killing and 66 injured, including two executives from Hezbollah and several fighters.
The Israeli strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut targeted a meeting in a basement of the Hezbollah elite force command, the Al-Radwane unit, killing 16 of its members, a source close to Hezbollah told AFP on Saturday.
Hezbollah also announced on Friday evening the death of two leaders, including Ibrahim Akil and Ahmad Mahmoud Wehbé, who had led the Al-Radwane unit until the beginning of 2024 as well as members of the Force.
The Shiite party announced the death of several of its fighters in press releases published during the night from Friday to Saturday.
The Israeli army claimed, on Friday around 4 p.m. on Friday the “targeted strike” on the southern suburbs of Beirut, bastion of Hezbollah.
The attack, which consisted of four missiles pulled by planes from the Israeli Air Force caused the collapse of the ten -storey building.
