Hamas launched, in the morning of this Saturday, October 7, 2023, an operation against Israel, making at least one dead and 15 injured.
Hundreds of rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip to Israel this morning, killing at least one and fifteen injured.
The rocket fire from several places in the Gaza Strip started before 6:30 a.m. and continued at the start of the morning. This operation puts an end to a Truce generally respected since the end of a five -day war last May.
35 Israelis taken hostage
Hamas has announced the start of a new military operation against Israel, its armed branch which has controlled the Gaza Strip since 2007, announced that it had triggered the “Deluge of Al-Aqsa” operation against Israel and launched more than 5,000 rockets.
The Israeli army said, for its part that Hamas was the source of a “combined attack, including rocket fire and infiltration of terrorists in Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip”.
According to the radio of the Israeli army, 35 Israelis between civilians and soldiers were taken hostage by Palestinians.
