Ahmed al-Ghandour, known as Abou Anas, member of the Military Council of Ezzdine Al-Qassam brigades and commander of the northern brigade of Gaza, was dead, announced this Sunday, November 26, 2023 the military branch of Hamas.
The Ezzdine al-Qassam brigades do not cite the date or the place of the death of Ahmed al-Ghandour, which was the target in the past of two attempts at Israeli assassination in 2002 and 2012.
The armed branch of Hamas also announces that several of its executives – Wael Rajab, Raafat Salman and Ayman Siyam, died.
Targed for a long time by the Israeli army, Ahmed al-Ghandour had lost two of his children in strikes before the current offensive.
