Great Britain is ready to advance the decision to formally recognize a Palestinian state, the British Minister of Foreign Affairs David Cameron announced on Monday January 29.
Cameron said Palestinians had to benefit from a political horizon to encourage peace in the Middle East.
The United Kingdom is responsible for defining what a Palestinian state would look like, he said in a media appearance.
According to his words, the Palestinian people “irreversible progress” should be shown towards a two -state solution, said Lord Cameron.
“As this happens, we-with our allies-will examine the question of the recognition of a Palestinian State, including the United Nations,” he said.
