Maître Najat Hadriche, member of the legal team supporting the world flotilla “Soumoud”, said on his Facebook page that according to the testimony of Me wish Bichara, the head of the legal team of the Palestinian NGO Adalah, the activists of the flotilla for Gaza intercepted Wednesday by the navy of the Zionist entity were transferred to the Kesdiout prison, Negev while waiting for their expulsion.
After spending nearly twenty-four hours accompanying activists during their interrogations at the port of Ashdod, the Palestinian lawyers of Adalah confirmed, this Friday morning, the end of all the interrogation procedures. Passengers arrested on the high seas were then sent to Kesdiout prison, an isolated Israeli penitentiary center, located about thirty kilometers from the Egyptian border.
The Adalah team left Ashdod a few minutes ago to reach Kesdiout. She plans to meet each of the activists arrested in order to assess their situation and ensure their security, pending their programmed expulsion.
A total of 473 members of the Sumud world flotilla were held by the Israeli authorities, including 25 Tunisian citizens, said Sami Ben Ghazi, lawyer and member of the Legal Support Committee for the Flutilla de la Liberté.
