After Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, Senegal and Tunisia, a first confirmed case of contamination in the new coronavirus was announced this Monday, March 2020, in Morocco.
The Ministry of Health has announced the detection of this case, stating that it was a Moroccan from Italy.
It was a positive agnosticated by the Pasteur-Maroc Institute and was put to isolation in a Casablanca hospital “where it will be taken care of according to the health measures in force”.
Six African countries are now affected by the COVVI-19 for seven cases (two in Algeria). Dan Le Monde, 90,823 confirmed cases were recorded for 3116 dead.
