A peasant, on the fringes of the city, Zohra Abdelli takes the path to the fields every morning.
She sows, cultivates and harvests, dividing her time between chard, radishes and also the famous “gnaouia”, these okra that gourmets delight in.
Zohra Abdelli is an agricultural worker, generally hired on a daily basis, for a meager salary. A courageous woman, she spends long days on the plots for which she is responsible.
Appreciated by all, Zohra Abdelli is like many Tunisian women living in Bhar Lazreg, between the sprawling city and a few vegetable oases.
