The Peugeot brand has launched a reminder campaign concerning 143,440 of its vehicles which would be impacted by a braking problem.
Several models are affected by this recall. In fact, almost all of the range of its vehicles such as the Peugeot 208, 2008, 308, 3008 and 5008, produced between April 3, 2017 and December 11, 2021, more than 140,000 vehicles according to the French Auto Plus site.
Still according to the same source, the brand specifies that it aims to be “reassuring” since it would only be a simple “software update to improve the diagnosis of the braking assistance system and to avoid any risk of reduction or loss of braking assistance”.
