Algeria recorded, this Thursday, March 12, 2020, its first death due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) at the Blida hospital, the Algerian Ministry of Health announced. It is a 78 -year -old patient who was placed in isolation.
In addition, a new assessment of experienced cases was published with 5 new confirmed cases to reach a total of 24 contaminated people in the coronavirus.
Among these 24 confirmed cases, 8 healed patients who were under medical supervision at Boufarik hospital, left the hospital.
Recall that to date, the coronavirus has contaminated 125,326 people worldwide while 4,625 deaths have been recorded including 3169 in China and 827 in Italy.
