A case recorded in Nigeria, the third in Africa

Nigeria becomes the third African country to detect a case of coronavirus.

After Egypt and Algeria, the Nigerian authorities announced the detection of a confirmed case of coronavirus from an Italian national arrived in Nigeria on February 25, 2020. This is the first case recorded in sub -Saharan Africa.

The Nigerian Minister of Health assured, this Friday, February 28, 2020, that the patient is in a stable clinical condition and does not have worrying symptoms.
