60 -day Truce in Gaza: Trump announces the Israel agreement, Hamas remains cautious

US President Donald Trump announced Tuesday, July 1, that the state of Israel had accepted the conditions for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza, as part of a diplomatic plan supported by Qatar and Egypt. The announcement marks a potential turning point in A conflict that has already cost the lives of more than 56,000 Palestiniansaccording to the Gaza Ministry of Health, but Hamas has not yet given its green light.

What the agreement provides
