It has been the most dangerous for 20 years. An impressive avalanche took place in Haute-Savoie in France on Sunday April 9, on the Armancette glacier. The snow flow spilled over more than 1,000 meters, causing the death of five people.
In its path, the avalanche takes 13 mountaineers. Five people lost their lives there, including two confirmed high mountain guides, according to a provisional assessment, report French media.
It is also explained that no avalanche alert had been made by Météo-France, but the heat and the wind were able to cause this event.
